Proper sound is achieved only with good sound deadening/prep so I also purchased SoundSkins precut sound deadening kit for the Super Duty which will completely cover the door skin with sound deadening, MTI Accoustics Front and Rear Door Access Panels, MTI Accoustics Front and Rear Door speaker adapters, MTI Accoustics Custom Tweeter mounts, and NVX Silicone Speaker Baffles with back wave panels. I also like that they are 2.5 Ohm with high sensitivity (94/95 db) while also being able to take significant RMS power (from aftermarket amplification) so they hopefully will play well with the B&O amp until I get to my phase 2 upgrades. I had been looking at the JL Audio C1 and the Focal ISU series but the Kappas sounded way better to me. I decided on the Kappas after hearing them at my local audio dealer.
